All we had to do today was work on and try to finish 2A and 2B if we were not done. Calkins called us all up to look at test scores and see how bad we all did.

Due on Tuesday: 2A #1-9 ☺ 2B #1-4

Today was a pretty easy day. Calkins was gone, probably got picked to play on The Million Second Quiz, so we had a sub. All we had to do in class was work on 2A #1-9 (assigned yesterday) and 2B #1-4.

Assigned Today: 2B #1-4

Today we talked about the all famous Pythagorean theorem to start off chapter two. We saw how the Egyptians used the 3-4-5 triangle and a string to make 90 degree angles. Later, we heard Tinman completely destroy the theorem and showed how he was wrong. Fourth period decided the makers of The Wizard of OZ did this on purpose to show a diploma doesn't necessarily make you a genius. Near the end of the period, we watched a few clips of a Munchkin committing suicide.

Due Thursday, the 19th: 2A #1-9

Today in class we were given time to write our page of notes for the chapter one test at the beginning of the period. We then started the test and completed that throughout the rest of the class. Before the test Calkins came around and checked assignment: 1F #1-6, 1G #5-6, and Review Set A. There was no homework assigned.
